SUMAC is proud to present the debut self-titled ep by interdisciplinary artist Jannah Quill, who for several years has been a prominent and distinctive voice in Australian art and music. Through site specific installations, performances and collaborations, her work has explored the boundaries of electronic music production and audiovisual experimentation. Jannah’s music is the result of a unique process that includes innovative light-to-audio systems, software/hardware experimentation and advanced analogue synthesis.

On this EP Jannah presents 5 tracks that encapsulate her unique sound, pushing it further into club-friendly and ambient worlds.The EP includes driving peak time material, stripped back percussion workouts, expansive synthesizer experiments, and a unique approach to rhythm, mixing and arrangement throughout. Having exclusively performed live for many years, this is Jannah’s first dedicated release. This self titled EP captures her raw, exciting and visceral musical vision for the first time.
